Pink Charcuterie Board Ideas

Published: Jan 14, 2025 · Modified: May 28, 2025 by Kristy Bernardo · Leave a Comment

Whether you're hosting a Valentine's Day party or planning a romantic evening for two, a pink charcuterie board is the perfect way to add elegance - not to mention romance - to the night.

We have ideas for ingredients to add to the board, as well as examples of some gorgeous boards for inspiration!

Creative Additions for a Pink Charcuterie Board

We've put together this list of ideas for ways to elevate your pink charcuterie boards. While (almost) everything on our list is pink, remember that adding other colors (such as red, white, and a few pops of green) will make the most visually appealing boards. We have a long list of red foods for ideas, too!

  • Top a round of Brie with Rose Petal Jelly - Top a wheel of Brie with rose petal jelly (try baking the brie before topping). You could also add pink edible flower petals.
  • Pink Peppercorn or Beet Crackers - Either of these crackers would add gorgeous color and a wonderful crunch!
  • Watermelon Radish Slices - Serve them as-is or pickle them first. - Thinly sliced watermelon radishes add a crisp, tangy kick and a stunning pink hue to your board.
  • Candied Grapefruit Wedges - Not only a gorgeous addition to a pink charcuterie board but delicious, too!
  • Fresh raspberries - These are truly a must! Yes, they're red but the slight contrast with mostly pink foods will add more depth to your board.
  • Pink Macarons - These add a touch of elegance and come in flavors like raspberry, strawberry, or rose.
  • Dragon Fruit Cubes - The vibrant pink flesh of dragon fruit pairs beautifully with creamy cheeses. You can also buy them in dehydrated form.
  • Strawberry Almonds - These work well as a sweet snack or paired with cheese.
  • Dried Flowers - We recommend going with edible flowers since they'll be on a tray with other foods. Freshly Preserved is who we personally purchase from and we've never been disappointed.
  • Pink Chocolate-Covered Strawberries - Dip strawberries in pink-tinted white chocolate and sprinkle them with crushed freeze-dried raspberries for extra texture. You can find freeze-dried raspberries at Trader Joe's.
  • Beet Hummus - A small bowl of this brightly-hued hummus will add so much color (and flavor) to your board!
  • Pink Koshu Grapes - these are admittedly difficult to find in the US, but if you can get your hands on some, they're the perfect addition to a pink charcuterie board! Red grapes are a wonderful choice if you can't locate a pink variety.
  • Raspberry Goat Cheese Log - Roll a goat cheese log in crushed raspberries and pistachios for a sweet and tangy flavor combination. You might also be able to find pink goat cheese (Vermont Creamery has one called "Strawberry Spritz").
  • Rose Flavored Turkish Delight - These soft, pink-hued candies pair surprisingly well with sharp cheeses.
  • Pink Champagne Gummies - Champagne-flavored gummies? You can't get much closer to perfect for a Valentine's-themed board.
  • Pickled Red Onions - Pair these with a beef liver pâté for an incredible pairing.
  • Pink Lady Apple Slices - Crisp and slightly tart, Pink Lady apples are a natural choice for a pink charcuterie board. Pair them with Brie or cheddar.
  • Rosewater Marshmallows - These are absolutely stunning. Group just a few together in different spots on your board.
  • Pink Pepper Salami - Choose salami infused with pink peppercorns for a subtle spicy flavor.
  • Strawberry Jam Tartlets - Mini tartlets filled with strawberry jam can be enjoyed as a sweet treat or paired with brie or cheddar.
  • Pink Praline Candies - These sweet, nutty treats bring a crunchy element to your pink-themed spread. You'll only need a few so save the rest to enjoy later.
  • Pink Chocolate Bars - Break up pink bars of chocolate and place them around the board (they make great "fillers"). You can also find similar bars at local grocers around Valentine's Day (Hershey has a "Strawberries & Creme" bar, for example).

Tips for Arranging Your Pink Charcuterie Board

We have an entire post dedicated to how to make a charcuterie board, but here are some quick suggestions:

  1. Start with a Base: Use a wooden board, slate, or marble slab.
  2. Build Around a Centerpiece: Place a large item, like a wheel of pink-topped Brie or a bowl of beet hummus, at the center.
  3. Balance Sweet and Savory: Alternate sweet items like macarons with savory elements like pink pepper salami.
  4. Layer in Textures: Use a mix of crunchy, creamy, and chewy textures.
  5. Stick to a Color Palette: Keep most elements pink, with small pops of green, red, or white for contrast.
